My sister and I stayed at Bridgeview Farmhouse for 3 nights beginning Sept. 27th, 2011. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there with Marian. We had a room overlooking the water and hills beyond which was spacious and very comfortable. Everything was very clean and Marian was always eager to make us feel at home. Her breakfasts were delicious and there was plenty of it! We enjoyed the sitting room in the evenings where we could watch the latest news and shows on T.V. and just relax and chat about the day's activities. Marian would offer scones and tea or coffee in the sitting room - or even a little nip of a cream liqueur (a nice way to end the day). Missing our own dogs, we loved throwing the ball outside with Marian's black lab Lily. Marian was always very friendly and took the time to help us with directions or a restaurant recommendation. She told us of a good restaurant in Kinsale that was known for its' fish and chips - "Dino's". It's right on the harbor and the fish was excellent! We both highly recommend Marian's farmhouse and will definitely stay there again in the future if our travels bring us back to this area. The views are spectacular, although it was quite foggy for most of our stay. Thank you, Marian for taking such good care of us. Be sure to wear your reflective vest when you go out walking!

As far as the eye could see, nothing but the most beautiful greenery and water views one could imagine. Upon arriving Marian welcomed us warmly into her clean and comfortable B & B. The Irish Breakfast was delicious, more food than one could possible eat. The location was very accommodating for water activities and close proximity to great restaurants and shopping in Cork. Thank you, Marian, for a great and relaxing stay at your B & B.

Stayed here one night. Hostess gave us great advice about where to eat and what to do. She also makes a great breakfast. The rooms are a little less modern than others we stayed in (it really feels like a farmhouse) but we liked that. We had a good stay here.

We stayed there for one night over Easter. It was lovely, very quiet and relaxing location. Room we've got was recently re-docorated, clean and cozy with nice view. The best ever was our beakie as it was Easter morn we've got each cream egg :) on top of everything else what's there usually (fresh homemade scones, friutsalad, yogurts, selection of juices with eggs, sausages, pudding, rashers etc from breakie menu). Would highly recommend for nice homely stay.

Marian was a fabulous host and made sure we felt right at home. We traveled with our 11 and 9 year old and they loved being at Bridgeview. Our room was just right for the four of us and we were very comfortable. Our children enjoyed playing outside. Breakfast was delicious and Marian made incredible scones everyday. Although it is a 10 or so minute drive to Kinsale, we would happily stay at Bridgeview again.
