The reviews of excellency were not mirrored in our experience. The restaurant is divided into two, the hotel guests using the buffet restaurant and visitors using smaller à la carte restaurants. The Ambiance and the service were excellent, however sadly the meal was a total disappointment. The venison goulash tasted as though it was re-warmed from a micro wave oven – tough and tasteless. The steak was also disappointing and not to be recommended.
Nonetheless the restaurant manager, handled our complaint in an excellent fashion and to some extent mitigated our disappointment. Nonetheless given the large number of competitive restaurants in this area, we would give these a try before returning here.
