Very pleasant staff, situated in a garden-location in Lencois with clean and comfortable rooms. Very relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Owner, Kris, and main-man Guga were very helpful with treking advice. Top-class tour arrangements available. Plenty of parking. Within walking distance of Lencois centre, river pools for swimming and the beautiful waterfall 2 kms from town. Good value although not cheap. I'd definitely stay there again. Older clients or those with mobility problems may find access difficult, as it is on top of a hill with poorly cobbled streets.

Villa Serrano is a pousada that has been well thought out to the smallest detail. The rooms are very clean, well decorated, homely and surrounded by nature. The restaurant inside the pousada serves up excellent food. Breakfast has a lot of variety. Villa Serrano is walkable to the town center, yet you do not feel the proximity of the town once inside the pousada. Although we didn’t use the services of the tour agency inside the pousada, they were very helpful in arranging a private transfer for us to and from Lencois. They do have yoga sessions in the evening. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Villa Serrano and would highly recommend it.

During our stay in the Pousada Vila Serrano we booked two tours with Brasilien Adventure directly with Cristiane at our Pousada. On the first tour our guide Fabio took us on a hike around Lençois and showed us all there is to see. Amazing caves, hills, rivers, wildlife and above all, waterfalls. Fabio is a great guy. Very knowledgable, calm and just very likeable. On the second day, our guide Hernandes took as by car to the main sights around: blue caves etc. and seeing the sunset from Morro do Pai Inácio. Hernades speaks English fluently and is also super nice and funny. Overall, we can just recommend booking tours with them. You learn and see so much more with a local as compared to going by yourself. Chapada Diamantina is a must!

Beautiful hostel set in a very nice environment. The rooms were really nice with a small veranda where we unfortunately didn't have time to hang out. Great food and service from wonderful chef Elias. Great to be able to book all the excursions at the travelagency in the hostel. Very good service from Chris and thanks to very good guide Hernandez!
Also appreciated to be able to have massage at the hostel. Had my best one ever ( a japanese one i think) from a guy that also has classes in yoga I think.
Great breakfast with lots of variety, even lactose- and glutenfree options.
Would definitely stay there again. The only thing missing is a pool!

We stayed for 4 nights in vila Serrano with a group of 5 adults, all family. The pousada is well located, a 5 min walk out of the town center. It has a nice garden and even a bistro, where chef Elias prepares several special dishes using local ingredients. Although the town has loads of restaurants, it is worth trying at least one night his delicious food. The staff is very helpful. One day we had somebody in our group with stomach pain and they served a nice soup and special tea. Also one day, while it was raining, they made some sandwiches for lunch.
We had a very nice stay and felt really at home. It has a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are nice and quiet with a good shower. Breakfast is good with a lot of variety. In all I can recommend the stay.
