We found most restaurants around Lake Garda to cater to tourist concepts rather than our expectations of what Italian food should be. This lovely family run restaurant however, offers a well-thought out menu of a size allowing everything to be well cooked and presented.
Our particular favourites were the polenta with lake pike and the carpaccio beef. All the pasta as has been mentioned elsewhere, is made on the premises, and this was the only place we saw any wholewheat pasta available during our stay.
All in all, I wish I could eat there again tonight!
