We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights. The hotel was only a short walk from the train station, which made it so convenient for our trips that we had planned. It was also a short distance to walk to catch the ferry. This was a great service for exploring the towns situated along the lake. Our room was adequate, but this was compensated by a lovely view and also a large balcony, which had 2 sun beds and a table and chairs. The air conditioning could have been better, but this is my only gripe. Breakfast was nice and the staff were helpful.
Overall, we had a wonderful holiday.

The location of the hotel is ideal as it is only a short walk (5-10 minutes) from the train station. The hotel itself is well presented and looks nice. The room was average, we were disappointed in the airconditioning as it didn't seem to be effective which was a problem during the hot summer nights (we stayed for 4 nights in July 2018). The room balcony was nice with an ok view. There were a few bugs which was annoying to deal with, but expected. We didn't try out the restaurant but spent time at the bar / garden. There was live music one night, which was nice. The bar staff were excellent, and the tall male waiter especially was exceptional. He was very kind and accommodating, even when the bar was due to shut he was still happily serving us with a smile on his face. The rooftop jacuzzi was excellent. While the jacuzzi itself is quite small (3-4 people max), there were sun beds on the roof with a great view.

We stayed here for 11 nights and had a Lake side room on second floor. Our room was quite large, with good sized bathroom and absolutely spotless. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in whilst on holiday. Our holiday included half board - we were one of the only guests to have this and we found the set menu to be varied, of good quality and especially the seafood items were delicious. We would point out that at times we felt a little bit second class to those who were walk ins or having the al la cartel menu - this was especially true of the middle aged member of staff (male, with beard and waistcoat) who barely gave us a second glance, but was very attentive to other diners. However Andrea (not sure I have spelt it right) was absolutely wonderful, friendly and attentive. The same could be said for Alexander the barman, who made a mean G&T. Laura on reception was friendly, polite and extremely helpful.
This hotel was well equipped and comfortable for a 3* and well placed for the town, buses, trains and ferries. We did find the music especially from other bars quite intrusive but didn't occur every night so not a huge issue.
We would recommend this to couples, maybe not families as they only have a small food garden with a hot tub (no pool). Breakfast was the usual continental you expect - only small criticism was items like bread, fruit and watermelon not always replenished at busy times.
Overall we have had a fabulous holiday in stunning surroundings, if all staff behaved liked Andrea, Alexander and Laura we would have given it 5* but the attitude of the middle aged gentleman at dinner made us feel a bit second class.

We have just returned from a 14 night holiday touring the lakes and stayed 4 of those nights in this hotel. Because we had our car with us parking was very important. This hotel has a few bays for guests only outside the front of the hotel, a few up the side and a few underground at a cost of 5 euros per day. There is also parking available on the nearby streets. Room wasn’t large but adequate. Proper balcony that had 2 chairs and a table to enjoy those lakeside views. Brilliant aircon (much needed). Breakfast choices plentiful. Location good, just a 10 min walk away to heart of the old town or the railway station for trips into Verona or Venice. Plenty of local eateries without having to walk into the town, but even more choice there!

Room Tip: Road is quite noisy so ask for a higher room for best views and away from road noise

Have to say, was a super 6 day holiday from start to finish at Hotel Acquadolce. The staff specially are what made it for me, so very friendly! My other half loved the AirCon sitting on a cool 5 Celsius a 32+ evenings, plus the loungers and jacuzzi on the roof are amazing. Last but not least the food was amazing didn’t have to leave the hotel to often. If I had one complaint it’s that my holiday was too short.
