Having done our TripAdvisor research we were keen to try this restaurant as it was close to our apartment. We couldn't get in the first night, so booked for the following day. It was well worth waiting for!
The handwritten menus give a feel for the homely nature of the place - if you don't speak Italian well, a translation app or phrase book is helpful. As other reviewers have commented, you come for the food, which was excellent rather than the look of the place. It's inexpensive, and so we had an excellent meal for four with wine, water and coffee for 90 Euros. The house red wine was good - easy drinking.
