We travel different places every year, never had to complain but this was our worse ever holiday experience!! We booked this holiday back in December last year for this June for 14 nights based on the gorgeous photos, we were a bit skeptical after reading mixed reviews but we took the risk, well I won't be risking this again!! We paid for a sea view room, we arrived late at night and got put into room number 13, which is basically underground with a view of a bush, electric wires hanging out of the plug sockets etc.. so we went back to reception and told them that we hadn't paid for a bush view and about the electric wires, he said we had to pay €140 to 'upgrade'.. I questioned this because we had already paid for our holiday and we didn't get the sea view that we had paid for... it was getting later and we were tired from the whole day travelling... so he said to pay him and he would get the manager to sort something out for us the next day... we accepted. Then we goes up to room 28 n went straight to bed. We woke up in the morning and the room was covered in dust, bathroom was dirty, bathroom drain kept falling in, toilet seat was broken, gas hob was filthy - I wouldn't cook a dogs dinner on it!! Bathroom taps were all corroded, thick dust under the beds, broken bed slats, cracks in the walls and ceiling, sofa was stained. Me and my partner went down and asked to see the manager about the €140 and the receptionist 'helen' told us to return later that day due to the manager not being there... we agreed and asked if it was possible to have our room cleaned and she refused, we asked her to come up to see the condition of it, again she refused so we asked for another room, she shook her head and refused yet again. We went back up to the room and our door was wide open, I know for a fact that I pulled the door up and it was 'locked'... we tried to shut the door and it just kept opening... the door wasn't latching onto the frame, it was really flimsy almost like a beach hut door. I sent my other half down to get someone and another receptionist came up with a metal tool and bent the door metal in so that it was latch onto it and his words whilst chuckling were 'this always happens, if it happens again come get me'... surely if this always happens why haven't they installed new doors? We couldn't relax due to the fact we didn't feel safe, we could only get so much into the mini safe and the fact they welcome everyone to the hotel including locals (this wouldn't bother me if I knew the doors were secure). That evening I went back down to see the manager and he wasn't there again... Helen told us to come back the next day, for 6 days we kept getting told 'come back later, or come back the next day'. One day she told us to wait in our room and she will send him up as soon as he arrived, we waited 7 hours for him and he never showed up, i went down yet again to be told that he had apparently 'been and gone'. Never once did we see the manager in our whole stay, we really didn't know what to do next, so we phoned the holiday company we booked with and they said to ask for a complaints form.. we did and Helen refused too until I kept on and on and she eventually gave me a form. We sent the holiday company the pictures of the hotel and they were disgusted and booked us on the next flight home - our holiday was totally ruined but I couldn't get out of that place any quicker. Helen was so rude and very very unprofessional and what sort of manager doesn't show up when his guests requests to see him. The customer service is absolutely vile. The pictures are very deceiving... the beach is absolutely beautiful... cannot fault it... however the hotel... is something else!! Take my advice and avoid this holiday at all costs!! Am still waiting for the hotel to reply to our holiday provider... which they still haven't done and it's been 7 weeks since we went out there.... AVOID!! I have got more pictures that I will have to put on a separate post as it won't allow me to show them all....

Family were staying in another hotel last year, and were given a flyer on the tourist train bout Area Blue, visitors welcome, so we went for the day, was abs brilliant, what a great day, swim up bar, loved it, music, prices decent too, on the beach too, so got to swim in the ocean, also had good food, fast friendly service, plenty chairs, loungers and even luxury dbl bed size loungers too, cant fault it at all.def one for a future holiday!

. As someone else wrote "you get what you pay for" . Its a budget hotel, don't expect the Hilton , great location right on the water, near highly T A restaurants . Our room was clean albeit straight out of the 70's. The manager Theodore was a lovely young man who could not do enough for us.

We were on the second floor and the wi fi was fine . Our room overlooked the pool and we could not hear the kids playing in the pool when the door was closed.

If you can afford a higher budget then of course you would try a better motel with more modern fittings

Dirty rooms, old building and rooms, bad mattresses (you will feel the springs intensely on your back)... cheap hotel for cheap family holidays. Not bad for beach access (stone, not sand) but poor comminications with other villages. Taxi is the only alternative to move from/to the hotel.

Booked November 2016 for 10 nights in June to take in my birthday and Father's Day as I lost dad a few years ago. Paid extra for seaview and was so looking forward to relaxing holiday. Arrived at 830pm and was walked by the barman to a room facing the pool. I was on guard after reading the review from April this year from someone who had paid for seaview and not got it. I said straight away we have paid for seaview and was told to go to reception with my booking confirmation the next day as he was only the barman
The room was number 17 and faced the pool bar open all day until 2am and next to reception where everyone had to pass to get in and out of there
Never slept for more than 2 hours for first 5 nights
Upon returning to reception twice the next day I was told they had to speak to manager about changing my room and I was told they were fully booked. I advised that I booked last November and that I had watched several people arriving after me being checked in to the twin seaview block as shown in photos being the block overlooking grass and beach which are the seaview ones. I was immediately told that the block was apartments and not a studio which I had booked. People need to be aware that studios only have a very distant view of the sea if you can get past the pool view noise and lack of privacy so they are being missold

If I had had enough spare cash to go after night 5 to another apartment I would have done. Instead I paid for aircon to drown out the noise and get a good nights sleep

Had to go off site due to noisy local teenagers every day deliberately splashing and dive bombing in pool splashing holidaymakers until they left and taking up half of beds in grassed area and chasing each other running around people on holiday

I overheard a barman one evening when asked about the teenagers and if they paid said no as we are open all year round we want to become popular

Cleaning as per the attached photos

Buzzer in room to order free room service as per attached. When I buzzed one afternoon as it was too intimidating going down to order due to amount of teenagers taking over the place the barman told me he had full hotel to service and I should have gone down to order and was rude until he spotted my birthday cards

do not stay here they don't care about holiday makers and I'm disappointed we all work so hard each year for our holidays and to have it ruined it's disgraceful
