I went here with two of my friends, it's a shame because the trip was going well, the flights were excellent and reps at the airport were amazing...then we arrived at the hotel. We arrived around midday and were greeted by the reps and got our room key straight away.
We were on the top floor so had to climb like 3 sets of stairs with 3 big suitcases with no help offered or given. We got into the room which all I could say is that we just wanted to cry, we were told we should consider ourselves lucky that we had a shower curtain..it was mouldy, it smelt and I don't know what standard of clean they thought it was because i wouldn't even let my dog sleep in there. We then had a problem with our door, it wouldn't lock so the hotel staff moved us rooms.
after a disaster first hour we then had a rep come to your room and pressure you into buying the 18-30 package!!! Then after paying for an activity I can honestly say I didn't see the rep since. We had a positive mind set and went out and tried to stay out of the hotel as much as we could.
The maids, I've never met a group of people who are more rude! They came into our room whilst we were still asleep and clean around us, whilst we were still half asleep! and by clean I mean pick up water bottles, and empty the bin, they didn't give new towels or extra toilet paper, so to refrain we left the key in the door however the maids still managed to get in!? And continue to do the same! We had no pans or plates and considering its self catering with a fridge which is just pointless because it doesn't keep anything cool it's very disappointing. We attempted to find a rep all day we asked hotel staff and they were not where to been seen, quite frankly if you weren't a a single young girl they reps were not interested.
Enough was enough for us nothing was going right and we couldn't bare to stay longer so after three days of being there I rang up Thomas Cook and demanded they transferred our flights to that day which they did. Finally once a rep managed to come to our room as we were packing and just stood there and watched us, not once did they apologise and when we asked for our money back for an event which we we weren't even going to be in the country to attended he practically laughed in our faces. The hotel reps were the best example of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Stay well clear.
