Hands down the most charming B&B I have ever stayed at. Grand yet comfortable surroundings with an immaculately attentive and polite host. His first thought is for the guests, as they arrive and throughout their stay. He is there when needed but leaves people to their privacy. Wonderful breakfast featuring ham, eggs, fruit & the best croissants and baguettes in France. If you wanted dinner, it can be arranged. Nearby (walking distance) are amazing restaurants and hangouts in this relaxing, cozy town. There is even a local cinema! If you are in need of a haven away from the world where you want to practice your French and leave your cares behind, look no further. Reasonably priced, excellent value! I stayed in the suite in a VERY comfortable bed, and have never slept better. There is a private back garden with lavender, climbing roses and a small swimming pool open during warm months. There are a dozen walks in this historic, walled, medieval town. You don't need a car if you want to stay in the village, but bring one if you want to tour the area. Cool farmers market on Saturday morning. Authentically French experience. Nearby railway is Rang-du-Fliers, and Calais Chunnel stop is about 40 minutes away by taxi. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Room Tip: The suite is extremely quiet. Easy to sleep in.

This is just to say how excellent we found Mason 76 when family members of ours stayed there during a long weekend. The house is truly beautiful and spectacular and the garden is absolutely lovely. There is a super salon and a lovely dining room amongst other spacious accommodation and the bedrooms were first class.
Tim provided a brilliant service and as a result the hospitality was second to none. We really recommend it. PW.

We stayed at the Maison with a group of 8. Tim took great care of us. From arranging diner at one of the magnificent restaurants of Montreul to helping us make plans for our big cycling tour.

Besides the wonderful help, the rooms are fantastic for your getaway weekend. Especially the bath in the Sarazin suite gives the word relax a whole new dimension.

Room Tip: If you're a light sleeper, make sure not to take the Leannac Room. Cars tend to drive fast.

We were fortunate to stay at the charming Maison 76 for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend. I essentially selected this accommodation based on reviews alone and it certainly did not disappoint. Tim and Delphine were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The setting is beautiful, right in the centre of Montreuil, with plenty of street parking just outside. Inside, the period building has been beautifully restored and decorated and it is totally charming, with a huge ‘salon’ and lovely outdoor garden.
The room we stayed in was the ‘Laennec’. It was spacious, clean and had a large ensuite bathroom with shower. The bed was super comfortable and we slept extremely well every night. Even though this room faces the street we did not notice any noise at all from outside.
Breakfast was delicious with many options to suit all tastes, including fresh brioche, croissants, homemade muesli, and eggs to order. We also enjoyed an evening meal at Maison 76 and would recommend this if you are looking for a quiet night in. The food was tasty and authentically French.
Tim was very helpful with tips and suggestions for things to do in Montreuil and further afield and it was really handy having local knowledge so we knew what to see and where to go.
All in all we cannot fault Maison 76, and would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area. Thank you Tim and Delphine!
