Had a great stay at Fuego, center located in Santa Teresa, 1 min walk to the supermarket and beach, lots of restaurants in walking distance as well...
Super nice owners, room and garden. Would love to come back on our next visit to Santa Teresa ! Thank you for everything

Clean, good wifi, close to supermarket/ resturants/ surf spot.
Big rooms, great shower.
Very recommended. Oweners were super friendly and good vibes. The place is very beautiful, looks like someone is really taken care of everything.

We stayed in Fuego Lodge over Christmas vacation and New Years. First of all, you have the owners of this amazing place within a reach (a big plus in my opinion), but if you would like privacy and be left to your own exploration it will be respected. The location of Fuego Lodge is very central, walk to yoga, supermarket, beach, restaurants. The units are super clean!!!!!! Owners are warm, welcoming, sincere and amazing people. I was worried that everything will be closed on our day of arrival which was Christmas day and asked Barbara (the owner) to do grocery shopping for me, no questions asked, always a "YES" attitude with a huge smile!
The swimming pool area is well designed, we loved spending our afternoons there after the surfing sessions. There are different accommodation options. Highly recommend Fuego Lodge!

Room Tip: There are many different options, ask Barbara for the best option for your situation.

My husband, 9 year old son and I just spent 5 wonderful nights at the Fuego Lodge over Thanksgivingand cannot recommend it enough. The property is beautiful- the pool especially is fantastic- shady, refreshing, and you feel like you’re at an expensive resort. We picked it sight unseen based on the wonderful reviews and were not disappointed. Barbara and her husband are just lovely- kind and helpful and always willing to assist. In fact, when we asked her for a recommendation on places to rent an ATV she called, ordered one and it was delivered to us the very next day. And then picked up! We had the suite with the outdoor kitchen, and it’s really more of a house/villa/bungalow than a suite. The room was extremely spacious, the bathroom was very big and having the kitchen, especially the fridge and the coffeemaker, were great. The Fuego location is perfect as well. A 1 minute walk to the main road (restaurants, grocery store) and a 5 minute walk to the beach access road.

The beach there is a surfer’s paradise with big waves but can be very rocky in the mornings in low tide. But a 10 minute drive north is Playa Hermosa, which was stunningly beautiful. Uncrowded while we were there and perfect for our son to take surfing lessons. At about 3pm (and high tide) we would return to the Santa Teresa beach to play in the (no longer rocky) water and wait for the sunset.

All in all it was a wonderful vacation, and a fantastic stay at the Fuego Lodge. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Santa Teresa.

I stayed for four nights in a king suite and it was perfect. The pool area is beautiful, clean and quiet and the room was much the same. The owners are lovely people, the gentleman even dusted off an old bike, fixing the tires and chain and lent it to me so I could cruise around. Great spot for couples who want a quiet, relaxed holiday. Pura Vida
