On the island for a day (cruise ship) & spent the day with a friend who lives near the Wahoo Bar. Arrived at the restaurant by his small boat, pier a bit wonky but what would you expect out here. We arrived just after a tour ship so worried that we would wait forever BUT we had our fish & chips whilst we were still on our first beer. Fish was different to Melbourne where you get flake - it was a bit meaty, but delicious, in crisp batter. The meal was good but the views over the harbour are outstanding, especially as I have now read the WW2 history of that harbour. What a place.
