“Great whales and great people.”
Review of Mariner Cruises

Mariner Cruises
Reviewed 10 July 2017

We say 3 Minke whales and 2 humpbacks. One Minke came close to our boat and then went under the boat tummy down and back tummy up. He did that about 12 times. Everyone was running from one side of the boat to the other. We were all screaming, clapping, it was great. We were out on the water 4 hours but it seemed like a minute. Then they served cookies, hot chocolate, not tea and coffee.

Our friendly and helpful reception set the tone for the whole trip. Our guide kept us informed, and walked around during quiet periods to chat and answer questions. Captain Chris seemed to know nust where to find the whales, and how to stay close. We watched from close quarters several pods of humpbacks, and saw some dolphins further away.

We booked the combo Fundy Inn/ Whale Boat online for $175 ($133US) This includes a room for the night at the Fundy Inn with breakfast and a 4 hour Whale Tour, for 2 people.
The Fundy Inn was spotless, breakfast was good and the bathrooms are shared but it worked out. Penny answered every question before we asked. She was there when you needed her and gone when you didn't. IF YOU DON'T SEE WHALES, THEY WILL GIVE A PASS FOR ANOTHER TRIP.

The weather could've been nicer, but it definitely did not hinder the overall experience. Penny was very knowledgeable about the humpback whales, even referred to them by names. We were entertained by these magnificent mammals for 2 hours. Our captain Jim was also very knowledgeable and was eager to please the children that had questions about his equipment/navigational system.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone from families with young children, old and young, and of course couples. fyi... Dress Warm

We went out yesterday, hopefully wanting to see one whale..........
Well, we saw an orca, a fin whale and tons of humpbacks. 4 of which decided to perform for us for such a long time. It was absolutely fabulous!

Owner Penny, was so incredibly welcoming, Becky her first hand was awesome. The Captain Jim was great!

No need to look else where for a tour. This is 10+ day.

Thanks guys for checking off one more on our bucket list.

A brilliant crew and day.

Thanks a million

Doug and Helen
