I am not usually one to leave bad reviews, however, having read the superb ratings of other customers, I thought I would provide my point of view, to provide a more balanced idea of the place.
We visited a couple of days ago. We stayed at Pontin's Prestatyn but wanted to venture out for a nice meal. We came across this place and were tempted by the reasonable prices. That is more or less the only positive part of our experience. We ordered drinks (2 x diet cokes) and were served a flat, warm glass of something (tasting like the budget supermaket cola-drinks) with a few cubes of ice in it. We complained, the waiter took the drinks away after we turned away his kind offer to add more ice, and he then brought something completely different, this time tasting like real coke. We then ordered the meals. Chicken korma, mixed grill and scampi for our little one. The waiter brought chicken nuggets instead of scampi - which we struggled to identify as chicken, as it tasted of bad meat. We sent it back and the scampi arrived a little later - soggy but ok, at least that is what we ordered. The korma sauce was fine but the chicken in it smelt of bad chicken, so we avoided the meat. The grill was so overspiced and overcooked that you would not be able to tell which meat is which.
Overall, we left half of the food uneaten on the plates - we would normally ask for a takeaway bag of whatever we do not finish but not at this restaurant - it was all so poor that we were happy to be finished and leave.
Oh, and there is a surprise - having been offered chapati and ordered two, we did not realise that the dips/chutney tray was chargeable separately. Had we known that, we would not have ordered it, but as the waited brought it anyway, we assumed it was free of charge. Wrong - £2 was duly added to the bill at the end but thankfully, the waiter waived the charge.
I would NOT go back there!

We enjoyed a really delicious meal, the menu was extensive and there were a good number of dishes in the "Chef's Specials" section to tempt us. The restaurant is up a flight of stairs and so not as prominent as another Indian restaurant on the same street. The food was well cooked and we were both pleased with our choices. "Medium" was not over-spiced with chilli but was very flavourful. They also offer a take-away service if you don't want to eat in. Staff were friendly and attentive.
