“Splendid isolation”
Reviewed 30 December 2015 for a stay in December 2015

Great place to get away. Down a very quiet track, pitch dark and silent by night. The wood burner warms the place up brilliantly for a very cosy getaway. Very close to the water and there's even a local standing stone. My personal favourite part was the media server with almost 200 films to choose from - perfect for cuddling up with the fire going and a nice wee dram.

“Good value and secluded location”
Reviewed 6 November 2015 for a stay in September 2015

The cottage is in a nice location, very close to the sea, with walks and scenery. Other cottages nearby were unoccupied when we were there, so very quiet. Everything was tidy and as advertised. The cottage is a little on the small side, but ok for two. WiFi functional, though slow - really only suitable for occasional email checking. 20mins on single track road with passing places to get to the main road. A good value option if looking for somewhere relaxing and off the beaten track.

“It's still a little bit of paradise”

We last stayed here over 30 years ago and were delighted to find that this cottage is back on the holiday rental market. This little cottage has been thoughtfully restored and is comfortable and cosy. However, it is the surroundings that make the stay exceptional. If you want to experience absolute peace, starry night skies and days walking or just sitting around reading, then this is the place. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble making sure their guests' needs are met. What bliss it was to spend a week away from the madding crowd. thankyou and we will be back again - but a lot sooner! Lots to see in the surrounding area, Coastal walks, a world class restaurant in Kilberry, and peace, perfect peace.

“The ideal cottage to wind down”
Reviewed 4 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We spent the last week in September in this fantastic cottage. If you want somewhere to wind down and want to relax. Somewhere to enjoy the quiet beauty of the West of Scotland and its wild life, this is the place to stay. Previous reviews sum up everything that makes a stay in Cnocachanach Cottage a wonderful holiday experience.

“A perfect relaxing holiday get - a way!”

We’ve just come back from a week’s holiday at Cnocachanach Cottage. It was a fantastic holiday to unwind and enjoy a beautiful part of the UK.

The cottage is quite remote but the views are to die for. It’s situated along a single track road, and It was very rare to see cars go down it. The cottage itself is quaint and was well equipped (even down to a brolley, this was very much needed during the start of the holiday). There is nothing I can fault!

If you want a quiet, scenic and tech free holiday, then look no further!
