The location and setting of the trulli is fabulous, views all around with an amazing pool and outdoor facilities, its quite and peaceful. That said - yes to get to the property you have to drive down some a country lanes - a bit daunting when you first arrive but after a few days you think nothing of it and infact its not actually very far only 5 or 6 kilometres from the town center.
There is so much to see and do around the area and the property managers are available to help out with additional services - we hired bikes through them and really enjoyed cycling through the countryside and trying to spot "our Trulli" as we looked over the countryside.
Ideal for a family holiday, to combine sight seeing with playing around the pool.
We loved the Trulli which was great. The facilities were quite good but the location was a bit far out and not so easy to get to. The accommodation was wonderful...the pool was lovely the region of Puglia was superb with wonderful things to see and do.
Would have been good to know that we were not within walking distance of anything. Lastly I thought the charge of E30 for rubbish disposal was a bit steep but fortunately we did not have to pay this.
The ladies who look after the property who were lovely and English (I think) should have some Italian because when we got lost they could not converse with the locals to help us out. Also the WIFI did not work all that well.
My wish to stay in a Trulli was more than satisfied but my travelling companions were not as enamored as I was. Once you know where you are going it is a great base to explore Puglia.
