Description: OPENING HOURS MONDAY-SATURDAY = 12:00-14:30 / 19:30-21:00 I'm an Italian-American who has taught in Italy twice, and my favorite place to eat while I'm there is Trattoria da Ezio in Macerata, a small Reinaissance town in the Marche. The restaurant is a little mon-and-pop storefront, and the menu varies depending on what looks best at the market-beef , veal, pork, . I doubt the restaurant even has a freezer!!Every Christmas eve they feed free meals to whomever shows up -they don't turn anyone away.

We had the privilege of visiting a lovely family run trattoria in Macerata. If you are looking for a little place where Nonna does the cooking, this is it! No fixed menu, the waiter tells you what is offered today, and you choose. Perfect, fresh made pasta, lovingly prepared. All dishes are cooked to order.
Wonderful, genuinely Italian.

We were recommended by the tourist information to go here for lunch. It was perfect. It is not gourmet food, but it is local and comfort food. The limited choices were a relief and we each had food that we enjoyed. The house wine was also delicious and the service was very friendly and warm. It was the most local meal we had while in Le Marche.

Four of us booked a pre-opera, evening meal here having read great reviews. Standing outside, you wouldn't look twice or even notice that it is a restaurant but walk on by and you will have missed a treat. A friendly, family run place, full of Italians (always a good sign). Fresh and delicious ravioli with ricotta and pesto got us off to a great start. Fresh baked and tasty bread, good house wine and quickly replenished water in glass carafes moved us on to a fantastic mixed grill with side dish of probably the best roast potatoes (cooked in olive oil) that I have ever had. Home made Tiramsu to finish and all for €25 a head. A great find.

If it was, I don't want to be right. Grown adults literally shed tears during this absolutely epic meal. Frankly it made it my top 5 list of all time favorite meals! The Gnocchi was out of this world, the raviolis with pesto was one incredible bite after another.
Mirella is a true love; giving as much to her community as she does to her craft. Tiny off the beaten track type of place....just the way I like it.

Went here with a group of twelve food professionals from Los Angeles and Europe and had an incredible experience. Mirella is unique and a true gem and will not cut corners with her pasta craft. Every two days, she makes another batch of pasta using 100eggs and 40lbs of flour along with their personal olive oil. Her gnocchi were unlike any elsewhere - silky and smooth with a beautiful goose ragu. The food is traditional, old school Marcheggian - and Maceratan. It's grandma's Italian. The place is small, authentic, unfussy and without a hint of pretense or attitude. This is a purist's paradise.

Don't visit this town without going here.
