> Will is definitely the best host. The room is simple, cheap and has a stunning view, 5 min by tuktuk from the center. It's perfect.

> We got to know the mother too, so nice, she made us Sri Lankan delicious breakfast.

> Will has so nice and brings us to a restaurant with his tuktuk.

> We got to know also his son, Asian, we spent 2 days with him going by car from Ella to Negombo but stopping in really nice locations as little Adam peak, botanical garden, tea plantation and so on. He went with us and was happy to give us information.

> So stop looking and book the guesthouse of Will: you will find absolute kindness, tuktuk, car transfer services, stunning view, nice breakfast and above all, a lovely Sri Lankan family.

this is amazing value for money, costing just £19 per night. We had a stunning view of the mountains from our balcony. A clean and comfortable room including mosquito net. Kettle, fridge and hair dryer provided! The room had a large bathroom and clean towels provided daily!

What really made our stay was the hospitality. The owner and his son where so welcoming- picking us up from the station on arrival. Breakfast was the best we have had and was included- it was a Sri Lankan feast of sweet and savoury! They have a tuk tuk and do discounted rates and were more than happy to give us lifts into the centre! 5 minute tuk or about 20 minute walk (but it’s worth it to see the amazing views) You can rent a scooter for really cheap also!!

WiFi was included also and dinner available. We can’t fault our stay- worth every penny and more!!

We’ve been staying in Ella for more than a week and luckily enough we had one night with them. The room and the service was great and the dinner we ordered was excellent! Definitely we recommend this place☺️

We stayed here for three nights in January 2018 and loved our stay! The owner and his family was so lovely and took really good care of us during the stay. The breakfast was good, the best that we had on our stay in Sri Lanka! We also ordered dinner from the guesthouse and it was also the best curry that we had in Sri Lanka (and cheap too).

The view was excellent from the room terrace/balcony and room was clean and big with a small fridge, hairdryer and water boiler. The bed was really comfortable in my opinion!

The place is a few minute tuktuk ride from the town, but the ride cost less then 2 USD. We at least liked the peaceful location a bit from the town.
In all, great value for money and would highly recommend the place for everyone visiting Ella!

The homestay is located high above the valley, with extensive views from the large balconies. There are only 3 rooms and we had the upper floor room which is like a large timber structure with glazing at the front, and part of the sides. It was nice sitting on the balcony in the quiet of the evening

The room was carpeted and the shower room was modern and large

The staff were all friendly and helpful.

Dinner was served on the balcony and was very good, local food, with plenty of choice. Breakfast was also good
