We stayed for one night and was given a room with a view, where I caught the sun rising from the mountains beyond. That aside, the room, though spacious, is old, with very basic and crumbling furnishings. And the bathroom didn't appear all that clean.

Electricity supply was very unstable too, and when we were there, there was no electricity at the restaurant so we had dinner only with lights from the candles provided. Food was decent though. Due to the electricity issue, the lights in the room that mum and mum-in-law stayed in were really dim, and we thought it was quite dangerous as they could easily trip over something and injure themselves. The owner then provided us a rechargeable light, which lasted till about midnight. In any case, power supply to our room was also interrupted several times during the night.

We caught sight of something very unpleasant when we checked out – the staff simply pulled the bed linens off the beds and put them under the sun! I think they probably don't wash the inens after each check-out. Aarrgghh! GROSS!

A little over-priced for my taste but the view of the mountains around Ella were breath taking. This hotel is a stop for tourist drivers in Ella. There is greater value in Ella IF you have a choice and the views are equally spectacular. The food is just ok and over priced.

Sky Green is about 4 mins by Tuk tuk or car outside Ella, up on the mountain side. The rooms are basic without much appeal.

The big draw is the view if you are lucky to be there when there are no clouds or mist. Its also fairly quiet as you do not get the noise from the town of Ella down below.

The beds all have mosquito nets and while there may not be many mosquitoes the nets will shield you from all kinds of other flying and crawling stuff thats going to enter your room if you have any lights on after dark. There is a gap between the wall and roof that allows everything to fly or crawl in.

We had breakfast which was just dry toast and a boring white non-descript omelet.

So, the highlight of this hotel is drinking tea on your balcony facing the valley and a great view.

Its OK for a day.

For good food an ambience try the Nescafe restaurant in town.

Friendly place with the great views. However it should not contain "resort" in its name. Our room (#2) was full of all kinds of insects... This was a result of having light on for a while in the evening and that despite the fact that the we kept doors and windows closed. It seems that there is a gap between room walls and roof construction so nature has a free way into room. If nothing else bed nets need quick replacement!

a reasonable guest house rather than hotel. rooms were ok with mosquito nets but had not been updated for ages. mist did not clear when i was there which was a shame. main building has small area for guets by the eating room but i was glad i only stayed one night as there was nothing to do after dinner.
