A beautiful homestay just outside Ella to relax within walking distance of the buzzing town of Ella and its surroundings

We stayed three nights at Waterfalls Homestay and enjoyed every second of it! The food was delicious every single day. The breakfast by itself would be a reason to spend a night here: next to curd and fruit salad, a different kind of home made muffin every single time! To top up, the hosts with their rich mix of cultures (Birmese, Australian, Singalese) bring the best of all worlds to this single place. I hope we can visit again!

The FIRST & BEST home stay in Ella town!!!!

It’s the absolute meaning for “home stay”!!!
location, food and cleanliness are off the hook!

Owners, Lakshan & Kiah will ensure your stay is taken care of at their best and never falls short in their commitment.
You certainly feel like part of their family during your stay, absolutely lovely people. 😘

They put so much love preparing your meals and top it all, if you are lucky, Kiah will make some scrumptious muffins for you as well 🤤.

We are definitely coming back guys!!

A wonderful homestay with excellent hospitality & home made food

A stay at Waterfalls homestay is truly like staying with family. Kiah
, Lakshan & their little son are delightful hosts, with a beautiful home.We stayed for 2 nights, eating dinner there the second night. Everything we ate was top quality & homemade. The best breakfast anywhere in Sri Lanka! The only word of caution is that the house is a long way up a steep hill which is not fully accesible by car, so if you are not prepared to walk 15 minutes uphill from Ella town, you will need a tuktuk, especially with luggage

Room tip: Difficult for car or van to reach (& final hill into driveway impossible) dso you may need to use tuktuks frequently to get to & from Ella

Unforgettable breakfast and breathtaking views

Khia and lakshan were such amazing hosts. Our little boy and their little boy were fast friends and our son made himself at home. They were so gracious and accommodating with anything we needed. Their breakfasts was the best we had- no doubt. Lakshan is gifted with making omelets and khia’s homemade muffins and breads were so delicious.

We’ll definitely be coming back!

Nice stay with also good meal.

Many thanks to LAXAM + KAYA for your welcome !
Correct bedroom and diner + breakfast at top level.
Good taste : you have made the difference with a real cooking effort.
Very peaceful place with view on the waterfalls : some noise, but what a landscape.

Room tip: Take a YOGA training on the terrace ! (extra service but very useful for the mind)
