Stayed in this hotel with my family, and it was just AMAING. Room, restaurants, spa, gym, beach, pool - all facilities are very tidy, modern and very attractive. If you like Chinese food YUE restaurant will be the best choise for you, it has a variety of food from different provinces in China, and the service is outstanding. I would say that the hotel is quite low-priced if you compare with other international 5 star hotels in China. Breakfast was very delicious and had a good variety of both western and asian dishes. Moreover i had a chance to meet General Manager of the hotel, Mr. Michael Hoevel, looking at how well he manages such a beautiful and big property it can be mentioned that he is a very professional hotelier !

This big older hotel has a long beach frontage with massive pools along the beach to small peninsula village. The rooms are spacious with good beds, great bathroom and quite dated decore.
The breakfast is extensive with a good mix of asia and European foods.
Language is a big difficulty as English is basic but directions or food choices being very difficult. Just outside the hotel it was almost impossible to get directions back from locals.
We're lucky that Michelle Li and Mia Sun who both work at Sheraton were very kind and helpful when we were struggling off site, and they were off duty. They are both fantastic ambassadors for the Sheraton group and are both destined for great careers, a nuanced our stay.
There is not much to do after hours once basic exploring has been done.
A major frustration is the internet and web service which can be described as nothing short of pathetic.
Shenzou was an interesting stopover which might, with all the current development, become a great tourist destination in the future.

First of all, this resort will be the best choice if you love golf because it is just close to a beautiful golf course.

The resort is far from everything, and there is not any interesting place in walking distance. Therefore, the hotel is very quiet for vacation. And obviously, the activities are also very limited - only golf, garden, beach and sunshine.

Finally, the Four Points and Sheraton share the resort - even the buildings are connected. The beach and pools are public for all guests as well. In my understanding, the only difference is the size of room and breakfast. But the price of Four Points is much lower, so I might choose Four points in the next time :)

I stayed in this hotel on Dec 18 till dec 20. Very good atmosphere frandly staff. Very good breakfast. There is no tuc shop which is the shortcoming and very inconvenient. They have very good lobby with musings band singing English songs also offering wide selection of vines. Apart from western restuarant, Also have Chinese restaurant on 1st floor which is very clean

Shenzhou Peninsula is 1.5hours away from Sanya and it's definitely worth the drive! This is a true vacation joint even I was on business trips. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a group of friendly and welcoming staff with welcome drink and necklace. There is a balcony overlooking the ocean in my room. It felt so lovely to wake up with this view in the mornings and while working. There is a huge outdoor swimming pool for relaxation. The food at the local Li tribe theme restaurant was delicious and special. It's a must go when you stay there.

The event staff I worked with were all professional, dedicated and friendly. I had a great pleasure working with them especially Jeffer Lu, Margaret Song and their team. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful and event so successful.

One thing I like to address is that the food packaging for take-away needs a change. We ordered two sandwiches and two cups orange juice to go before catching our flight. When I took them out from the bag, the sandwich box is wide open and fell out. The cup lid is opened and half the juice was spilled. We ended up eating half of them...Even the food was delicious, the packaging was unacceptable. I hope they would pay more attention to this.

Anyhow, it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend to stay at this hotel and skip Sanya if you really want a real chillaxing vacation in South China.
