My partner and I spend two nights in the Malope tented camp at Lindani in the first weekend of December. We were lucky enough to have the camp all to ourselves, except for the monkeys, warthogs and buck that came to say hello each morning. The kitchen, tents and ablution facilities were neat as a pin and so clean. The kitchen facilities had everything that one needs, from a coffee plunger to Tupperware for your leftovers. We also appreciated the small touches like a field guide to the trees and birds of the area as well as the fresh flower arrangement.
The walking trails were beautiful and well-marked. We walked the KLT trail that runs along a kloof and saw giraffe and several buck along the way.
We highly recommend ordering food from their kitchens. Their picnic baskets are amazing and come complete with colour coded table cloth and napkins! The bobotie, yellow rice and malva pudding we ordered for dinner was delicious and the portion sizes generous.
The bug thing that struck us about Lindani was their attention to detail. They have taken great care to ensure that guests feel at home and have those small comforts one takes for granted.
Lindani is a great place to have a bush breakaway and we recommend it to anyone looking to escape from the big city for some African tranquility.More
