Spent a couple of hours here relaxing. A lot of under tow in the water but some nice calm areas to one side which is perfect for the kids as they can swim or look for lots of interesting stuff in the rocks.

Situated in a narrow cliff enclosed bay you will find Bronte beach . Large rollers crash onto the steep inclined beach making it a good location for surfers. Swimmers can cool off in a rock pool off to one side or a 25mtr salt water pool . You can sun bath on the beach or the adjoining park which also has BBQ stations which are free to use . If you are not interested in cooking yourself there is a good choice of small cafes and a kiosk just off the beach.
I have always wanted to learn how to surf. At times I feel silly that after so many years living in Australia, the land of the surf, that It never occurred to me to learn. Watching the surf from up here, overlooking Bronte Park, it looks quite fun. I’m gonna have to return in summer and just do it.
Smaller but reasonably sized crescent beach. Lots of green space behind the beach with barbecues, shelter booths etc. The beach shelves quite sharply into the sea so not really all that suitable for young children but there are bathing pools available.
Lovely beach with beautiful views of the coast. It has an ocean swimming pool and also a nice little sheltered cove for bathing with young children away from the powerful surf. My little one loves it and we also got to see a whale breach off the coast before we left. There is parking available all day and a nice green space for the kids to run around if they get bored of the sea. Also a good kids park with shade and water available. Lovely place to visit.
This is a quite small beach, but a lovely one. It has lots of space on the grass though to enjoy all sorts of activities. There's a bus station to get in and out easily, but it's even better if you do the coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee!
