This is a small B&B but with several rooms just a short walk from the lake. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable with a little balcony.
The best part was the friendly service, the people working there could not have been nicer.
The breakfast was wonderful with both hot and cold selections. We would have happily stayed longer.
We quite enjoyed the hot tub with a nice glass of wine!

We were misled by the guidebook claiming this was a luxurious B&b with lavish breakfasts. Neither is correct. Our room was like an old Butlins' chalet with very thin walls and a very basic en suite. Nice enough public areas but it is located on a noisy main road. Breakfast is just ok, but good coffee.

Thank you for your feedback on your stay your comments have been taken on board. Our breakfasts are hugely popular and served hot or cold with menu changing daily, we are disappointed your expectation was not met on this occasion. The lounge rooms are a great space to relax and catch up after the days exciting activities although the hot tub is also just as alluring! We do hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday.

Lovely little B&B located on the edge of the beautiful town of Wanaka. Rooms are small but beautifully appointed and decorated. Our room had a lovely pitched and beamed ceiling with a king and single bed plus a small balcony. Breakfast was generous and cooked to order - homemade pancakes on the morning we were there. The owners could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend - good value for money.

Te Wanaka Lodge is a clean, well run lodge located centrally in Wanaka. Good breakfast and service for a reasonable price. We stayed 3 nights in the lodge itself and then 2 nights in a lovely apartment also run by the proprietors. The lodge rooms are small and don't lend themselves to spending a lot of time in the room itself but have small balconies for sitting which help. There are also two large common sitting areas attached to the lodge for lounging around if that's whjat you want to do. The apratment we stayed in was lovely, spacious and had great virews to the lake and mountains. Very friendly and helpful hosts, as is so often the case in New Zealand...they do it well!

Room Tip: The lodge itself is on one of the larger roads in Wanaka so a room upstairs away from the road isrec...

We were welcomed by Cheryl, excellent host and very helpful booking restaurant tables and giving advice. We stayed in the Garden cottage with the car in front of the door. Small hot tub and very nice guest lounge with honesty bar. Breakfast was excellent but hours could be a little extended. The room was adequate, good bed and nice bath room all very clean.

Would we return? Only if that bar behind the hotel would cooperate and get the noise levels down. For two nights in a row we heard the music but more annoying the drunken people screaming in the streets in the evening and during the night. not really the problem of the lodge but it did disturb our night rest. Besides that all good.

Thank you kindly for your review. We pride ourselves on 'the little things' that the lodge has to offer. Fortunately for us the Bar you mentioned has been taken over by new owners and we have definitely noticed that things have quietened down. We hope to see you again next time.
