... (no kidding).
Retro Airplanes AND cars ... a big boys dream location... & superbly presented. Wandering around traps you into absorbing all the background on pilots, & planes, all now history in most part.
You need 1-2 hours but hey have an intermission break in the Retro Diner, equally impressive.
Coffee is Magnificent. A passionate and accomplished barista, oh & every coffee is "double shot".
Whilst at the airport check out CLASSIC FLIGHTS, now that was a fantastic experience.

We stopped in after warbirds over wanaka. The museum is only small but super interesting!!! We really enjoyed our walk through. Also some quirky dresses throughout the place.

My husband wanted to see the Warbirds & Wheels museum since he is into the old war planes. I stayed in the gift store & walked around while he went inside since this really wasnt my thing. He came out after about 20 min & said it was ok, a little disappointed that there weren't many planes for him to see.

quite a bit of variety. more cars than airplanes. some of the cars were very special (like Carol Lombard's Duesy). We enjoyed our visit and would return.

I was a little disappointed. There was not as many aircraft as I expected. Some nice cars, mostly being Cadillac's and Packards. A friend suggest I vist the Toy and Transport Museum next door and now I wish I did
