Port Denarau is a tourist centre offering a wide variety of restaurants in a modern well layed out complex adjacent to the sea and regularly serviced by the happy Bula Bus - a hop on hop off service that runs frequently by all major resort hotels in the area.
Perfect little shopping centre with everything you need in the one place. So many good options making it the ultimate dinner place. And the free entertainment every night is amazing! Love it. Have been making special trips just to watch the islanders perform.
If you want some entertainment and pretty decent food and drinks with lots of water views and sunset views this place is great for that. It’s kinda clear they are catering to tourist in this section as it has all the trappings of being at a small outdoor mall in the United States. They have several really good live music bands starting at around 7. I’m pretty sure all of those souvenirs are most likely mass produced from China so you don’t find any hand made in Fiji type products at least not really and I looked extensively. When every single place had the exact sarong and mask I’m going to say mass produced. I really wanted a hand made/ hand dyed sarong like I got in the cook island but oh well.
This is the place for great food and cheaper booze. The Marina offers really great restaurants that do not have the prices of the hotels. The beer and other drinks are so much cheaper than the hotels that charge way to much and you can BYO your bottle of wine to the restaurants.
Good place to buy your gifts fir home. Jacks is great for gifts and service.
On the Bula bus to the marina , excellent place to visit , plenty of shops , places to eat , drink. Lots of attractions for off shore visits . Helicopter tours , boat tours , island hopping , para gliding , jet boats , etc . The marina has it all.
