This place is a hive of activity - tourists from everywhere, coming/going to/from their island getaways; boats of every size, shape and description lined neatly in rows along the marina. Very well organised, and Fiji smiles everywhere!

The marina is very handy to most hotels on Denarau, being a nice 10 minute walk away.
There is everything you could want there in terms of shops and restaurants.

This is the place you use to get to the outer islands by boat, all ferries leave from here.
The port has numerous restaurant's, a bakery (which is the only place opened early), rest open around 800 - 830, a mini food mart, bottle shop & other clothing & souvenirs outlets.
There's rental car companies & day tour agents. It takes about 25 mins & $30- 45 FJD taxi ride from the Nadi airport.

As the name says, it is a port!! Situated in Denarau, 15 minutes from the town of Nadi, Port Denarau is a hub of activity with retail shops dealing in daily goods, a bakery, clothes and a variety of restaurants.
There is an express mart that sells basic staples like milk, cereal, relishes, rice, jams, and much more including liquor.
Various resorts are situated around the port, connected by two bus services. One bus service is the house shaped Bula bus, which is a hop on hop off for a flat fee of FJD8 a day.
Another is the yellow Westbus that costs one FJD per person. The yellow bus also takes you to Nadi town.
Dining options include a pizzeria, an Italian place, an Indian/Asian restaurant, chicken express, two or three bars , ice cream and juices and a few more. Vegetarian options are far and few. Indian is the main vegetarian option with some on the menu.
You find at least 3 or 4 shops selling Fiji crafts and south sea pearls and corals. The shops offer to ship your purchases via DHL if they exceed your luggage.
If you booked your stay in one of the island resorts off Nadi Coast, Port Denarau is the place to catch all your transfers.
Southern cruises (full day and half day) start here. You may see catamarans, various yatches, boats here.
Day cruises start at 9 am, and go on through the day.
In evenings, on a good day, a fire dance is held here near the centre plaza. Awesome fun for all ages.
You may choose to live at any resort in Denarau and it’s easy enough to visit the port via the buses.
All in all, Port Denarau is the life hub of tourist side of Nadi.
