Starting with the negative, this dining experience may not suit everybody. It is a fixed menu of 5 courses with some extras - they will try and change anything you don't like, but can't guarantee it. Everybody sits down at once (hence the name) the food comes out on mass. Sparkling wine/champagne is ordered from the kitchen, red you help yourself from the wine racks, white from the fridge. It is a good choice below restaurant prices, and all profits from the wine going to charity along with any tips that you may wish to leave - we certainly did. We had an excellent time with some people in the party not keen on the idea of some courses, but finding that they really enjoyed them. It's British food, done simply and well. As veterans of tasting menus - you go and you try. Definitely want to go back.
