We were on our way to Chandigarh from Shimla. Stopped over for lunch. We ordered Kadai Paneer (Rs.300), Yellow dal (Rs.230), Chicken Tikka masala half (Rs.450), Chicken Biryani (Rs.560)Tandoori roti @ Rs.25, fresh lime soda at Rs.90, Lassi @ Rs.100. Must say that the food was overall yummy. Lassi and fresh lime soda was really fresh and yum. The kadai paneer was good and chicken tikka masala for brilliant and was going great with Tandoori roti. Biryani was more like chicken spiced rice on a sizzler plate. Though it didnt have the flavours of a usual biryani, it still tasted good. We were 4 moderate eaters and food was more than sufficient. They also serve liquor. The washrooms were neat and clean. Loved the place and food. Will definitely visit again.

On our way to Shimla by road , we decided to have a typical punjabi brunch . So our driver suggested or rather insisted on this restaurant at Dharampur. So we controlled our hunger pangs and waited . When we entered the restaurant and procured our seats , we expected to be given a menu card which did not turn up even after 10 minutes! Finally , after a hungry wait of 15 minutes with no staff acknowledging our presence ,I went in search of a waiter, took a menu card and ordered parathas because they are part of the local cuisine. They took another 20 minutes to arrive. By the time our stomachs were rumbling. The cubes of butter accompanying a large plate sized parathas took me by surprise but looking around ,I found people ordering for more cubes and relishing their parathas with dollops of them and licking off from their fingers literally as in Finger-licking good! Food was okay but service was very poor.

The Haveli on the way to Chail / Chandigarh Shimla Highway is the likelihood due to its high name.
Its made underground 2 floors with the interior of very old tradition showing it to be the good one .The food was delicious and service was quite fast which is the main key point to be highlighted.
View from window was too great which I have included in the pics
