Description: At Kizuna, we feature sushi that is of the highest quality from the rice used, the nori rolled, and the grades/freshness of the fish to the decades of Japanese-style training our executive sushi chef has. To accompany the sushi, we produce ramen with all our soups cooked for many hours and made from scratch, allowing us to control the quality of the ingredients, so we can ensure that we aren't filling you with artificial chemical compounds known as MSG, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate, etc.

Oh, how we have come to love this place! Wednesday is half-priced Sake day, and happy hours on other days offer excellent options. We love the tater tots appetizer and always marvel at the combination of things in the dish. The sushi is very good, with plenty of choices that never disappoint. But the unrivaled star of this place for me is the Pork Shoyu Ramen. It has a rich chicken-pork stock, with succulent pieces of slow cooked then grilled pork belly. The ramen noodles are exquisite, and nothing like the packaged kind most people have eaten in their salad days. The steaming bowl has beautiful pink ginger, and with a bit of heat from a flavor amp, it's simply addictive. It's location, across from the Petsmart on Rt 7 and down in the section before the Olve Garden, it's a hidden gem most people pass by without ever seeing it. Make the effort; it's easy to find once you know where to look, and it's well worth your time. Kizuna often has Groupon discounts, and the service is amazing. One waiter we didn't remember actually remembered us, and not just to say hello, but our drink and special order preferences. They do all of the basic things very well. And the ramen is simply superb. Highly recommended for small groups or families and they do take reservations.

Good sushi isn't cheap and Kizuna is no exception. Lunch specials will leave a guy hungry but ramen and and order of decent sushi gets you to $30 per person or more with tip.

The house signature pork ramen was excellent but the biggest hit at the table was the Ultimo roll with tuna, spicy mayo, lump crab and crunchy flakes. One of best sushi items any of us had ever had.

Very cool restaurant just off Leesburg Pike close to Tysons. Modern decor with cool lighting fixtures creating different eating areas - very well done. Has a nice outdoor patio next to a small pond and waterfall feature and privacy creating bamboo. We ordered the Black Edamame as a starter which our waiter recommended as a Japanese specialty and it was very good with more flavor than ordinary edamame. The two vegetarians in our party ordered the Vegetable Ramen, which you can have with chicken broth or soy/veggie broth. I had the Miso Ramen which had so much flavor in the broth, it really reminded me of the little ramen shop from my youth in Japan. My green tea was not as scalding hot as I like it and the server did forget to bring the Tempura shrimp ordered as a side to one of the ramen dishes, but this did not dim our enjoyment of the evening. We went on a Saturday night around 7pm and were seated immediately. Business was brisk but our server and greeter were all courteous.

Kizuna is a small Japanese restaurant in Tysons corner. Decent food overall and good service as well. Sushi selections were very good and also the Ramen noodles. They also have sashimi style salmon dish which was great as well, poke style.
