My husband and I go several times a year and it still amazes me that they continue to build and add on to such a wonderful place. In the fall they plant 100,000 tulip bulbs and the colors are spectacular in the spring. Every Thursday thru the month of April they have what is called "Tunes & Blooms". Concert, grills going, bring you own food if you like. The place fills with people of all ages.

It is a wonderful thing to see so many people take advantage of such a beautiful place.

A sunny, beautiful day helped, but the animals were great and the exhibits solid. The big cat enclosure was being worked on, and there weren't enough monkeys, but otherwise this was an awesome day.

I visted the zoo last week and it was a overall great time. The only thing was this time of the year they were doing alot of construction and alot of the animals were out yet.

If you can make it there early, and on a weekday-that is best. Very cool animals, learning experiences, and lots to enjoy! You can feed the Giraffes, feed the Camels, and the Cheetah Run is AMAZING!
Love, Love , Love it!

This would be my 4th trip to the Zoo, it's a nice day out for the family. pleanty to see and nice walks around well mapped out. The Bird Show is a nice stop off for a break out of the sun and a time to plan where to go next. Look out for Coupons in handout, papers or leflets at the bar/eating houses for a better entrance fee.
