This is a lovely facility hidden in the backwoods of Wilton, CT. Open only five days a week, it is a small place with excellent old fashioned service. The food is excellent quality, served very simpl y, perhaps too simply for the fairly high prices at dinner on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Choices are OK but limited. The day we were there we were surprised to see no chicken dish on the menu. We ate Strip steak ($46) and a smallish piece of branzino (low $30$?), neither especially well presented. This is a good place, make no mistake, but we can eat equally well in a number of other local places for substantially less. A cute idea, to present you with a personal printed menu, though I think it is the same menu every one else got. But then to give it to you as a souvenir? Honestly, it wasn’t that special, and we won’t be framing t he menu for posterity.
