Years ago -- as in 15 -- this was our favorite neighborhood Thai restaurant in Honolulu, then suddenly the cooking fell off a cliff. They swore there had been no changes, but something major had happened. For a few years we'd try it periodically, but no go. We just went back, twice, and hallelujah, the magic has returned. So I happily recommend a bargain, BYOB, friendly place with a larger than usual selection of Thai and Thai inspired food. Now that Spices is gone this is our favorite. Again.

We enjoy the food but the great service is what keeps us coming back. The Pla Rad Prik is the perfect fish dish and the yellow curry with scallops is divine. This is a comfortable neighborhood restaurant worth the trip out of Waikiki.

I and my husband are fond of Thai food, so we went to Champa Thai for some good thai food. And, we weren't disappointed. We eat less, so we had ordered Spring rolls and Veg. Pad Thai and in cocktails we had mango smoothie and cranberry juice. The only thing we didn't like was cranberry juice. Or else everything else was really fresh and good in taste. They have a very nice decor and an Asian interior aesthetic. Then in evenings they have female dancer doing traditional dance. Over all its a nice place for some food food. The only thing we thought it was not that crowded like other places was its location. So , those who have researched like we do this place can go unnoticed.

Small, local feel thai restaurant with excellent accomodating waitstaff, and delicious food made to order. They will make it traditionally thai hot if you dare.
