Owner description: Created by Merlin Award-winning illusionist John Hirokawa, the Magic of Polynesia is a spell-binding evening of stunning illusions, dramatic special effects, amazing sleight-of-hand and professionally choreographed Polynesian entertainment - all in our beautiful $7.5 million showroom in the heart of Waikiki. We hope you will thoroughly enjoy the show's grand vanishing acts, incredible levitations, fire knife performances, and much more.

This was a fun night. We didn't upgrade the dinner, but the food was still decent. Drinks were reasonably priced. Very entertaining. Agree with some of the other reviews to skip the luaus and see this show instead. My teenage son loved it as well, which is a hard crowd to please.

This show was very well scripted and choreographed to minimize the downtime between illusions. John is very engaged with the crowd and the dancers do a phenomenal job! With our show experience we got the "Bento Bowl" and it was very good containing rice, shredded pork, chicken teriyaki and noodles.

Our 7 year old was as entertained as we were with the show.

This event is a dinner & show. The dinner will depend of what the of ticket you order. The show is the same for all. The illusionist was fantastic & used to work with David Copperfield in Las Vegas. The were also Polynesian dancers in-between the acts, wearing traditional costumes & doing the traditional dances. We highly recommend this show, you won't be disappointed.

The show itself was hilarious. Very well done. Great illusions and lots of laughs. The host, Robert, is fabulous, BUT...the music/sound was WAY TOO LOUD. In the beginning, I nearly got up and walked out it was so loud. I put up with it and really did enjoy the show, but somebody ought to tell them to turn it down a little. It takes away from the experience when it's so loud. The meal was good and our server was nice, but it was Roberts interaction with the guests that made the night good. Honestly, more than the magic, the comedy was what had me leaving at the end of the night feeling I enjoyed myself. My kids were still laughing two days later at an audience member's interactions. If you don't mind LOUD this is for you.
