Owner description: Welcome to Waikiki Trolley! Where you can relive the glory days of Honolulu when streetcars and trolleys carried people all through town, and experience Hawaii the old style way in our open air trolleys! Enjoy the romance of polished brass, smooth wood, and the breeze in your hair as you explore the town. The Pink Line is your transportation all through Waikiki and over to Ala Moana Shopping Center. These Trolleys operate every 10 minutes for fast, easy, inexpensive transportation at just $2.00 per trip. The Red Line is a fully narrated guided sightseeing tour through Waikiki, downtown Honolulu, Chinatown and points in between. This leisurely schedule allows you to hop off at any spot to explore and then catch the next Trolley to resume your tour approximately 40 minutes later. The Green Line is also a fully narrated guided sightseeing tour and heads off in the opposite direction visiting spots in Waikiki, the Honolulu Zoo, the Aquarium, Diamond Head, along the scenic coast and off to Kahala Mall for shopping and movies. Hop on and off wherever you like! Our waikikitrolley website lists information on passes for all lines including multi-day combo passes for unlimited access on all three lines. Special discounts apply to on line purchases, but tickets can also be purchased at ticket booths at DFS shopping center and Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. Tickets can also be purchased on board each Trolley or from most tour desks throughout Waikiki. A fun new offering from Waikiki Trolleys is the addition of complimentary walking tours with any red line trolley ticket. The Honolulu 1941 tour walks you back to the war years for a look at life in Honolulu, what the island did to get ready, and the life of a sailor on liberty, with a peek into the infamous red light district of the time. The tour is Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:15, 11:15, and 1:15 at the Aloha Tower Trolley stop. Waikiki Trolleys - Powered by Aloha!

The Waikiki Trolley Bus proved an effective way to get around and visit different sites and landmarks in Honolulu.

Each route is colour-coded, ensuring you see the brosd scope of Honolulu's beauty. There are some areas that the Trolley buses don't go and car hire is recommended. Albeit, you need to take great care as most off highway routes don't have street lights.

This is great service to use to get around Honolulu.Great for shopping and bit of sightseeing. It’s good for the kids as it takes you to main attractions for kids ie Zoo, Aquarium beech etc.

For a couple bucks you can ride all over Waikiki. The only downside is in heavy traffic, it may be quicker to walk.

My family and I bought the 4 day pass (which I would highly suggest so that you could go on multiple trolleys). The employees were very accommodating and courteous (favourites were Fuji, Ili, Jennifer and Kitty!). They make it very easy to find your way around. You can see any part of the city, from the beaches to the diamond head. The blue line was the best and it was incredible to view the scenery and learn about the history of Hawaii. Would highly recommend to any friend, and perfect for families!

We’ve tried the pink, green and purple line. We had Brian as our driver for both the green (29 March 18) and purple (2 April 18) lines. He is a fantastic tour guide & driver and basically a lovely person altogether. He’s funny, he’s informative, and he takes really good care of people. Oh and he speaks good Japanese too!! (Not that I actually understand it but it sounded fluent). I love how he does small meaningful things like giving us a quick stop over to take on good views, slowing down for a good picture and ensuring no one gets lost (this poor Japanese auntie got on the wrong trolley in the pouring rain and Brian dropped her off at Ala Moana so that she could grab the pink line and stay dry). So a massive thank you to everybody over at Waikiki Trolley for making it so convenient :)
