My husband and I stayed at the Bayberry the long weekend of presidents day. It was during the winter festival. Although the Inn was booked up, it was very quiet and very private, which we both hoped for. It was our first time at an Inn and we didn't know what to expect. We were very pleased with our experience. We chose the Inn for the fireplace and the jacuzzi tub, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The tub is definately big enough for two, and my husband is a big man. The innkeeper was pleasant and made a nice french toast. Our room was made and we had fresh towels brought to us as well. We have no complaints about our stay except one. They forgot to bring in the A/C in this winter and the 2nd room and the bathroom was quiet cold. Our bedroom was very toasty though with the fireplace. The A/C wasn't properly insulated and there was a 1 inch gap to the outdoors. We stuffed the hole with a pair of socks...but the 2 rooms were still drafty. Also beware of the minifridge...it freezes soda cans and explodes them. Bring a 2 liter, its safer. Other than that....we had a great stay and would stay again even if our bathroom was drafty again.

The room was very nicely decorated. Jacuzzi in every room is a nice feature. We plan on returning each year and checking out the other rooms. Weekend rates are much more than weekdays. We are planning on doing midweek next time and staying longer. Overall a wonderful experience. Wendy is a great innkeeper. She has a great personality and really knows what she is doing.

This is a B&B so many of the categories below don't apply.

Good location near Tuoro Synagogue and Belleville Ave. Charming decor. Good parking. Free WiFi. Terrific breakfast and gorgeous dining room.

When we checked in it was very cold and the innkeeper said tthe heat in our room was not working but she brought 2 heaters and with the gas fired fireplace it was fine.

Fireplace and jacuzzi in room which was spacious and attractive.

We stayed for one night in the Red Room on a night that Newport was hit with a big snow storm. This room was fabulous with a warm fireplace, down comforter on the bed and a big Jacuzzi in the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with shirred eggs, sausage and homemade breads.

The service was wonderful, the room was beautiful, and the breakfasts were delicious! Would love to stay again. Very convenient to walk to the downtown shops and restaurants, even though the weather was cold. Nice to have the off street parking with all of the snow.
