The overall experience was great but the place desperately needs updating. I feel like we stepped into a time warp and landed in 1972. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable as we had hoped. The staff was friendly and helpful, the grounds were beautiful too. We would stay here again upon our return.

Very nice hotel. Our room was professionally designed and filled with quality furniture. It was rather large with separate sleeping and sitting areas plus office space. We didn't request or pay extra so I hope that all rooms are as good as ours was. Large back yard with 2 miles hiking trails trough pine forest.
The restaurant looks good however the Food was horrible. Avoid.

We stayed 3 nights at The Little America Hotel and had such a wonderful time! All the hotel staff were very pleasant and friendly. The rooms were very spacious, well kept and clean. The pool area was lovely in such gorgeous surroundings. We enjoyed some lovely walks too along the trails in the hotel grounds. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely love to visit again. Thank you so much for making our stay so pleasurable :)

This hotel is really nice!
Reception and personnel is very nice.
Rooms are very spacious, clean and so lovely to stay in. Beds are super comfortable and large.
This is the perfect place to stay a few days.
Need to know there is no elevator, when your room is on the 1st floor.
It's certainly not cheap, but it's still a great place.
Really close to the highway.

Room Tip: Prefer a room on the garden side

The lobby, gift shop, restaurant, conference facilities are truly exceptional. The newly renovated bathrooms in the conference area are 5 star quality. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was even better. Such a personal touch, very inviting. The rooms are grouped into "ski-like" Lodges. Very quaint and nice. The rooms are impeccably clean and decorated in a french country style. The fabric on the couch and drapery was really beautiful. The living room is extremely large with a very small balcony. If there was any negatives at all, I would say that the cabinetry & faucets in the bathroom need to be updated, the refrigerator is located in the bathroom, which I found a bit odd, and only the carpeting in the common lodge area needed a deep cleaning. But, everything was in excellent working order, and extremely well cared for. I understand they are going to renovate the restaurant and will be closed for about 5 months. Call ahead regarding this.
We would stay there again. The Sinclair Oil Company Family owns this hotel chain. You are treated like family and can see that they take pride in this property. Also, the fact that they have a gas station, automotive repair facility and convenience store makes this a terrific choice if you're traveling. Let the kids take a picture with Dino the Dinosaur before you leave.... Pleasantly surprised.
