We stayed one night here in Flagstaff in Early October. It was on the main road through the old part of town. ( where we wanted to be ) My travel companion is a major train lover so all the reviews with " how noisy and frequent the whistle blowed " just made the location perfect for us. In the room with door and windows closed I rarely heard the train. I did leave the heater running on low for some white noise effect. The room was large and clean. Check in was nice and easy. I asked for and got extra towels pronto. The lobby was decorated in art deco and looked retro. I would like to ask all motels to provide a non skid bath mat. I hate that I am old enough to need one of those. Was an affordable place for the night then we headed back down Highway 89A to Sedona and more wineries to visit. Much more reasonable rates in Flagstaff than Sedona area.
