Funny how some people seem so smart, "least expensive in Flagstaff, you get what you pay for" Brilliant! A master of the obvious living on the cheap.

Room Tip: I took one look at the room and said thank you, but no thank you to the man. Leave this place to idiots like the hiker from Costa RIca. We pressed on south and found a room more to our liking in Sedona.

Surprising that Travelodge allows its name and reputation to be attached to this property. The hotel needs a complete renovation. The price is one of the least expensive in Flagstaff but you get what you pay for.
The bed was comfortable at least.
The secure latch on the front door was broken off. The paint job of the room showed patches of exposed paint from the previous color. The remote control for the television only worked for changing channels. (on/off and volume was not functioning at all)
The free WiFi was slow and kept disconnecting.
The free breakfast was toast, mini muffins, and cereal. The coffee was atrocious.
The man at the front counter was friendly.

Travelodge needs to spend some money and fix the property. At least teach the workers how to paint...and do some maintenance.

we wanted a cheap, clean hotel for a stop over on the way to the grand canyon. It was nice, clean, large room. We left before breakfast so I can't say anything about that. Price was cheaper on expedia, they matched the price. I know others said they had bed bugs, no problems with our room. It was an older hotel, but we got what we paid for. Would stay again. Walking distance to "bun huggers". It is a burger joint-good for families, good burgers.

this was a last resort for us to stay here. Once in bed two bed bugs crawled from the comforter onto my book. I am so disgusted and worry about taking this back home. We showered and left. I'd rather sleep in the car than in this dump.

My husband and I booked this room as a half way point to meet relatives visiting from out of town. Although they advertised a pool, when we got there, it was "under construction". The rooms was smelly and I didnt want to let our 6 month old sit on the carpet, so we asked for a refund and wanted to try somewhere else. The lady at the desk said SHE was the owner and there would be no refunds! I would not recommend staying here unless you dont mind filth, dont want to relax in a pool, and love to be treated nasty while someone is basically stealing your hard earned money! Pictures look great, but in real life this is not what it looks like!! If this business wasnt so desperate for your money...they would refund it if you were not happy. Obviously they dont get enough business or there are lots that want refunds, for them to have this policy even when you are so upset.

Room Tip: make sure when you book a room online, it is refundable, so when you get there in person and arent happy, you can get a refund!
