We stayed four nights and the price was fair for what was offered. Hubby and I walked from the train station (20 min.) @ 10:30 pm after calling ahead to ask if that was safe. The Inn is across the street from Northern AZ University in a neighborhood that reminded us of U of M/Ann Arbor. Henry, the manager lives on sight. He and the staff were very friendly and helpful. No breakfast is offered but great coffee was available in the lobby. Matador coffee shop is adjacent to the property with a gas station/carry out across the street on Rte. 66. Our room was on the second floor, no elevator. It was spacious & clean with a fridge & microwave. Few outlets for charging phones/tablets were available, not easily accessed since they were behind furniture that needed to be moved to reach (with the exception to the one in the bathroom). Towels were small and thin. The guest laundry was a nice surprise: $2 wash/$1.50 dry/$1 for soap (at front desk). We had an in-room phone that did not work and a malfunctioning lock on the door. Henry took care of both in a short time. Be aware that GPS directions to and from the entrance will be confusing since the driveway is so close to the corner of Clay St. and Rte. 66. To turn left to go out is nearly impossible with any traffic on the roads. Just turn right and make a u-turn in the Natural Grocers driveway, just past the HCI on Clay St. We would stay here again.

We've stayed here on a couple of occasions. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Could walk to restaurants. If there is one drawback, it's the location, especially when trying to leave the parking lot during busy times. We usually end up making a right turn and then turning around to get through the traffic light at the corner. The room and the bathroom are clean.

Room Tip: If you have issues with stairs, ask for a room on the ground level as there is no elevator.

Clean, large rooms. Good price for good location on the outskirts of town. Easy enough to find and ample parking spaces. We stayed for one night but had to use the car to get to restaurants etc. Would recommend.

We stayed here for a number of nights whilst exploring the area. The hotel was exactly as described clean, basic, quiet and has a laundry which we found very useful. The hotel had a microwave and fridge .The staff where very helpful ringing us a taxi to the airport and when this didn't turn up at 6am offering to take us to the airport in their own car I would stay here again without hesitation.
Just on the road next to the hotel is a great coffee shop.

We found this motel to be clean and comfortable. It was close for visiting the Grand Canyon--about an hour and a half drive away. A selection of places to eat was nearby. The beds were comfortable and the internet service was excellent.

Room Tip: The AC had a fan only option which serves as white noise when one isn't using the AC or heat.
