We were the first in line for the grand opening of the HuHot, mainly because my Midwestern in-laws kept talking about the chain. It is a nice, big space with plenty of booths and tables with the focus on the big Mongolian barbecue. You grab a bowl, stuff it full of proteins, noodles, vegetables, and sauces as you choose. You get to go as many times as you want and you should try different combinations to see what you like. For example, I like spicy and was very happy with the Szechuan spice combination but liked the Hot Stuff combination even more. The seafood sauce profile came out as just kind of bland in comparison. The big draw here is that there is pork, chicken, and beef but also seafood. When we went, they had calamari (which came out a bit chewy) but said they had scallops and shrimp on different days. If you have any allergy concerns, talk to the staff to make sure you don't get spill over of anyone else's choices as your bowls of food are being cooked.
