The Villas de Santa Fe is located in a convenient location to visit old town Sante Fe, Taos, and attractions north and northwest of the city. The greatest attribute of the Villas is the staff who work overtime to make the stay at the Villas and in Santa Fe rewarding and pleasant. The rooms are cozy and very clean. It was a nice stay.

My children went to Santa Fe for a quick get away...not wanting to break the bank. We chose to stay at Villa de Santa Fe...it was perfect! They were very accommodating to are late arrival and welcomed us with a smile! The room was cozy with a small kitchenette and a little living room. The couch was a sofa bed where my kids could relax and there was a separate room for me...I could close the door and enjoy peace and quiet The beds were very comfortable and the hot tubs and swimming pool were perfect temperatures! This place was perfect for kids...I would definitely stay again!

Stayed for a week. Very home like. Everything in good repair. Beds were very comfy. Barely heard our neighbors. Slept like logs!! There was even a blender and toaster and dishwasher in the kitchen and my favorite.. a clothesline in the shower. Huge to be able to dry wet suits etc. Location seemed a bit quirky granted is in walking distance to everything important. The resort is across the street from a business district/school and in the middle of a residential area. We were concerned when we first pulled in at dark but later realized it is a safe and quiet community. Only disappointment was the lobby fireplace was NEVER lit. We love the welcoming ambiance of a fire. We looked every time we passed by and no fire. Outside was in the 20's and 30's. Certainly cold enough. Come to find out March is OFF season for Santa Fe and Taos !! It was very apparent. Very disappointing. Many places with minimal hours and some closed for the month including tours and Pueblos!!!

Room was very good, but on the second floor and the elevator was out for maintenance. Since Santa Fe is at high altitude, stairs for someone not used to them will feel out of breath. Clean, comfortable king bed and kitchen great for cooking breakfast and stocking beverages, fruit and snacks.
Also, Tuesday was "cleaning" day. They replaced sheets and towels, and took the garbage, but did not clean the room (vacuum, bath, kitchen). Also, no replacement toiletries were left.
The people at the front desk were terrific! Very helpful with directions and places to go. Also, they provide a shuttle service for free, which lets you really enjoy the margaritas!

Room Tip: Some rooms had balconies, which we would have enjoyed.

We found this resort to be comfortable, quiet, and close to downtown Santa Fe. It is an ideal place to stay if you are interested in art and history. Just a short drive out of the city brings you to areas of incredible beauty.
