“Miracle stairs”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 February 2012

Well worth the trip, it only takes a few minutes to see pretty much everything in here, great architecture, beautiful cathedral, and the miracle stairs. However plan on spending at least an hour if you have spent any time as a carpenter or engineer of any type. Whoever built the stairs was one of a kind (its said it was one man and no nails), and its no small wonder it is considered by many to be a miracle. A definite must see for any engineer or craftsman. Be careful, it is possible to cry at the thought of the precision and dedication it took to complete this masterpiece.

A small chapel with an amazing "free-floating" spiral staircase.

“See the staircase”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2012

You MUST go see the "flying" staircase, and hear about its history. You'll leave wondering exactly what you DO believe. Gift shop had statues of St. Joseph (if you're superstitious and trying to sell a house). Worth the stop.
