We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, affordable and the hosts were eager to please. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. I heartily recommend this B and B.

We had stayed here previously as it was one of the more reasonable B&B's in Santa Fe, and had thoroughly enjoyed it. So, we came for a second time and it is still TOPS...excellent service, friendly owners, clean and great breakfasts. Have stayed in the Cowboy Room and the Chilie Picker room, both very clean and comfortable. Even took advantage of the hot tub after a long day of skiing. Without a doubt, an EXCELLENT place to stay! They do their absolute best to be sure that customers are treated well and given the best service. Well worth the trip to Santa Fe!

My 13-year-old son and I just returned from a 4-night stay at Casa de la Cuma -- truly, Colleen and Shaan's B and B was the linchpin of our exploration of Santa Fe. We slept in the Opera Suite, complete with faux Gilbert & Sullivan costumes and opera glasses, but the real pleasure was the innkeepers insights -- they recommended precisely the right mountain bike shop for our trip to the foot-hills (Melo Velo), the most efficient directions to the Interstate, and some smart dining suggestions. The location is perfect -- four blocks from the Santa Fe downtrown plaza, but tucked away enough so that our hot tub soak outside the B & B was uninterrupted by traffic. We found Casa de la Cuma to be cozy and unpretentious; precisely what we were hoping for. Recommended.

we just returned from new mexico yesterday and we had a wonderful time. casa de la cuma in santa fe is an exceptional b &b. Shaan and colleen are such warm and caring hosts. they gave us many great tips for touring the santa fe area and other nearby locations. shaan sat down with us the first day and gave us an overview of places to see and restaurants in which to eat. a lot of good and useful information. colleen lent us a c.d. to use in our car for our trip up to taos. with this we were able to learn about the history and the culture of the area. the daily breakfasts were fabulous. everything was homemade and absolutely delicious. we had coffee, tea, fresh fruit and fresh juice everyday, as well a freshly prepared hot breakfast item. one day it was
stuffed french toast, another day,a breakfast burrito so large we didn't have to eat again until dinnertime. we also enjoyed hot homemade oatmeal and spinach quiche. the food is by far the absolute best that we have had at a b&b. colleen and shaan are really great cooks.
our room was lovely, warm and inviting with a stove, and t.v.and a kingsized bed. it was bright and airy and overlooked a lovely patio and a water feature. the rate per night was $160.00.
the location of casa de la cuma was very convenient to the central plaza where many of the shops, restaurants, historic sites, museums and native vendors were located. it was about a 10 mintue walk or you could drive and find parking on the local streets around the plaza.
we had a super time and our hosts really helped to make it a special stay. we met many very nice people. this is one of the main reasons we stay at a b&b. we love the interaction with people from many different places. i had looked in a new mexico tourism book where they had a page of b&b listings. after viewing all the ones in the santa fe area, i found that casa de la cuma seemed to be the nicest. we were not disappointed. it was everything the web site said and MORE!!!! i told shaan and colleen that we would be back because there is so much more to see in and around santa fe.
i highly recommend casa de la cuma to anyone who is planning a stay in santa fe. it was great.

We stayed at the Casa de la Cuma B&B in Santa Fe over Labor Day weekend in 2007. What a lovely setting, with a large porch with a hot tub, pine trees and birds all around and very quiet. The hosts were very friendly and gave us tons of good advice on which restaurants to go to, etc. The room was extremely comfortable and clean with an outside entrance to the porch.

The B&B is a nice little walk to downtown Santa Fe and the Plaza--in fact, we never drove our car the whole weekend! We loved the breakfasts and free unlimited bottled water. The price to stay here is quite reasonable for Santa Fe.

We intend on staying at this B&B whenever we go to Santa Fe--one of our favorite spots in the Southwest.
