went there on a monday night prior to the basketball championship game. had a reservation for late afternoon. we got seated promptly. regretfully, that was the highlight of the meal. drink order was taken and then we waited and waited and waited. was a foreshadowing of the meal. finally our order was taken. after some time the appetizer that was ordered came out - but guess what, no utensils. went and asked for some and was told they were waiting on more (now there were a number of sets preset on another table. i asked about those and was told they could not be taken only to see the server pick them up and take them to another table). finally got some utensils. ice in my ice tea melted so i asked for some more ice. so, we waited and waited and waited. 15 min later some ice arrived. 45 minutes after ordering we still did not have our food. i went up to the hostess and asked for help - that we had been waiting for our food and my patience was wearing thin. she apologized and said she would ask the manager to attend to us. he was kind enough to stop by, but still not food. finally our food arrived, but you guessed it - there were a few mistakes (like not salad dressing for my salad - that took another 10 minutes to track down). quality of food is fine - but the whole meal was ruined by the terrible service. i would not go to this place again

I was here for a business lunch and while the food was delicious, the service was attentive and the location is good, I found (as a European) that portions were not as big as I expect them to be in the US. Perhaps because it was lunch but in hindsight i would have had a soup or salad (which i didn't fearful of not being able to finish the main).

I had the almond encrusted mahi-mahi which was delicious.

It is also good value for money.

The food was pretty good at Landry's. Staff was very helpful and cheerful. We were there for an early dinner so there was no crowd to contend with.

The River Walk is San Antonio’s shining star. A beautiful urban waterway park with lovely gardens and scenic walkways. While there are some nice dining options, Landry’s is one of the best fine dining options located right on the water. It offers wonderful views of the River Walk in a location that is designed to make a rather large venue appear quaint and intimate for dining groups of all sizes.

Landry’s Seafood House is a chain with locations in many major cities. However, they do a fine job of maintaining excellent menu options and high quality features that leave your taste buds quite satisfied. The charbroiled oysters were delicious... even in the middle of Texas!

If you are planning a trip to enjoy the River Walk, don’t hesitate to make Landry’s your fine dining choice.

Thank Yagelski

The food is typical Landry's....nothing fantastic, but the food was very good and the service was also very good. Located along the Riverwalk there is usually a large crowd, but because of the Final Four being in progress, the place was empty.
