Description: Our chefs have painstakingly created a menu of wine-friendly fare consisting of old world hors d'oeuvres and regionally inspired tapas. From baked Texas goat cheese with kalamata olives to fresh chocolate covered strawberries, the menu caters to the diversity of the food enthusiasts. Charles Court, at the rear of Zinc, is a truly serene gathering place for a rare outdoor experience. The private, spacious courtyard makes for a quiet sanctuary from the clatter of downtown city streets and the Riverwalk.

In town for a few days and decided to try a less touristy spot. Chose Zincs at the spur of the moment. Did not make reservations because it was still very, very early. Did not stay for supper. My suggestion to Zincs is to never, ever ever, ever offer a seat in the bar or by the kitchen to a person of color if a table is not available. Give a waiting time or a time to come back. Returning to New New Orleans tomorrow. doubt we will ever come back.

We ate here for dinner while in town for the NCAA tournament. We reserved online using open table and it was very easy. We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation, but there was no problem and they seated us right away.

I ordered the shrimp po'boy and my husband ordered the Zinc burger. Both were tasty and we both especially enjoyed the tartar sauce that came with my meal. The shrimp were light and the bread to shrimp ratio was on point.

My prickly pear margarita was half price due to it being happy hour! I wish they had a happy hour menu because we probably would have ordered more if we knew what was offered.

We ate here for dinner after spending several evenings on the Riverwalk. It was great to be in a quiet, secluded restaurant, with no crowds shuffling by. We sat on the patio, which has a pretty fountain and lovely landscaping. The wine list is really good, with many choices by the glass and very reasonable prices. We drank a Malbec and Cotes du Rhone in the $8 range, which were both very enjoyable. Also had a glass of the excellent Obsidian cab.The crab cakes were delicious, served with a nice side of greens. Our server, Brad, was knowledgeable and took the time to talk to us about our wine choices. Zinc is just a block off the river so easy to locate. We thought it was a gem and we were lucky to find it. The bar and inside dining room looked comfortable and quiet, too. Give this one a try instead of squeezing into some crowded high volume place on the river.

Great bistro food not on Riverwalk!

A little less travelled location for great food and service!

Will not disappointed!

We wanted a slight change from the many On the Riverwalk restaurants---- worth it!

Very menu choices for lunch from pizzas, sandwiches, salads, etc.
