We brought our grand kids here and they loved it. It brought back many great memories of when my mom and dad would bring us here in the early sixties. It was a big treat for us. Our grand kids loved it! The only change that I can see is that they don't have the small roller coaster anymore but they do have the same boats, and aerial rides, the train and the Ferris wheel. It is amazing that they are still operational. The food is classic amusement park cuisine, but it just tastes better being at Kiddie Park. Kiddie Park keeps pumping out the memories whether it's 1960 or 2018. Thank you!!

We visited on a weekend with a 3 and 1 year old. We enjoyed our short visit, here were the highlights.

Cons: Parking is hit or miss, we had to park across the street at the playground, hard with little kids. Recommend a wagon/stroller.
Outdoors-summer heat was challenging for us, we brought lots of water.
A bit crowded....lots of birthday parties.
Some longer lines at popular rides.

Pros: Affordable (parents ride free with kids) location is age appropriate for young children and had restrooms on site. Vintage style rides are nostalgic, you can’t go wrong with a classic carousel! Once inside, the grounds are small, there is not endless walking or distances between attractions so it really feels like a street fair.

Overall, If you can stand the heat for a few hours this is a great place for kids they will love it, even if it’s not the fanfare of the bigger parks. And it’s budget friendly.

I was so impressed with this place. We went on Wednesday, the unlimited ride bands were only $11! Every five minutes, our three year old rode a different ride. You can't do that at Six Flags. Even the concession stand was reasonable. There was also a lot of shade so it wasn't that bad even though it was summer in July. The bathrooms were pretty clean too!

Cute little place... great fun just outside the zoo. This is a great place to spend some time and tire out the kids. I suggest riding the train.

Pros:
Pretty cheap $13 for unlimited band on weekend
Concessions were affordable
Great for young kids under 8
Intimate setting, nice and small
Nicely kept for 100 year old park
$2.75 for face painting. One girl was really skilled.
Cons:
Not a lot to do for older kids
Parking lot is super small and crowded

Overall this is a cheap adventure for small children especially when you want to get out of the house and if you buy the unlimited band they can ride and play as much as they want. We stayed for 2 hours.

Historic kiddie park is lovely. Rides are small and simple. The are hand crafted, well worn and well maintained. The staff is friendly and prices are super fair. The whole vibe of Kiddie Park is that all families should be able to afford a trip to the amusement park.

For under $20 you can get a wristband for all the rides. If you have a young child, you may not be able to get on all the rides. It was fun and perfect for the family

I've been bringing my grandchildren here for years. Most of the rides are geared toward young children--I'd say it is best for age 8 and under--as they've grown, my older ones aren't interested in returning, but the little ones just love it.

I usually purchase a wrist band, which allows for all-day use. We go in the morning; then leave to go eat & visit one of the nearby museums (Children's Museum and/or Witte); then return to the Kiddie Park later in the day. I've also been able to purchase the wrist bands through Group-on occasionally--which really helps when taking multiple children.

We took our 3 year old grand daughter here yesterday. She absolutely loved it. She rode every ride in the park and most of them multiple times. The admission price for her was extremely reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is easy to see why this park has been in operation for many years.

They have wonderful old school amusements and carnival rides and games, the prices are very affordable and reasonable, my younger kids loved it, and it brought back great memories from when I enjoyed these types of rides and games from my youth as well.
