We had dinner here, and the prices were quite reasonable, and the service was excellent. It's very casual, and probably a bit more oriented to families. All ages were there as we had dinner. We had the rib tips which were good as well as sides of potato salad and cole slaw. The food was plentiful and tasty.

Got there at 6:50 buy the time we got to order it was 7:06pm . They stop making fries it 7pm and they ran out of chicken . Meats were good but served at room temp. Plenty to eat. Prices ok. If your coming from San Antonio I wouldn't make the trip but if you do, go early. Staff friendly.

We had the rib tips plate and the turkey plate. The meats were delicious--very moist and flavored with a very tasty rub. I tried a couple of the barbecue sauces on the table but honestly the meat didn't need any help.

Stopped in to test out the BBQ. Ordered brisket sandwich (wet) and a pulled pork plate with potato salad and pinto beans. Both portions for meat were good. They offered 4 different sauces plus hot sauce and for some reason didn't care for any of the sauces. Even with the hot sauce neither dish was spicy enough and the meats had very little flavor except for the smokiness of the meat. Definitely not top on my list for BBQ. We visited the location at the Stintson Airport and the restaurant was very clean and the staff very friendly.

This was dinner, reasonably priced, tasty and well worth a visit. We had the rib tips, and there was genuine evidence of the 14 hours spent in the smoker. The meat had very nice flavor, was very tender, and went down quickly and easily. We had sides--cole slaw and baked potato casserole which were both excellent. The decor isn't much, and they could use more seating, because the customers keep streaming in the door and the tables were all taken making it hard to find a place to sit, We had to claim a table then order. They were out of the mashed potato casserole, so my brother and his wife chose different sides. About five minutes after getting their meal, a sweet lady delivered a side of it even though they already had their two sides. The help is friendly and accommodating. Try this if and when you're in San Antonio. You'll enjoy your visit.
