“Expensive but hey its fine dining and all you can eat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 April 2012

Have ate here a couple of times, and dined at other Brazilian steak houses. Would have to say this is probably the best one in san Antonio. Wines are kinda expensive. Food is outstanding though. Skip the salad bar, lamb is to die for.

“Delicious but overwhelming”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2012

This was the first churrascaria experience for everyone in our party. I'm into trying different kinds of dining such as shabu shabu and was excited to try this. It comes with the most extensive salad bar I've ever seen (all kinds of salad veggies, cheese, potato and bean salads, etc.). Once your turn over your card, you're bombarded by men in gauchos offering you hunks of meat skewered on swords. I am not a huge meat person, but I must say, everything I tried was delicious. The only thing I didn't like was getting overwhelmed and interrupted by offerings of some kind of meat, even when my card was turned over. Let's just say, this would be a good place to take someone you didn't want to talk to, because there's hardly enough time to say "This is SO good!" That being said, everything, including the sides (cheesy rolls, fried banana, mashed potatoes, etc.) was delicious.

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 March 2012

This is definitely a unique dining experience. It was a bit pricey, but totally worth it for something fun, romantic or just different from average. It is a Brazilian steakhouse in which men in gouchos(authentic dress) walk around the restaurant with cuts of cooked meat on a big skewer. If you want a slice of meat, you turn your little disk to the green side and they will come and cut a piece of meat for you. They had 16 different types of meat to choose from, and they were so delicious! If you are not ready for more meat, you simply turn your disk to the red side. My husband and I enjoyed it very much, not to mention that we got to try several varieties of steak, instead of just ordering one steak like normal. For the two of us, the cost was about $125.00. I had a glass of wine, he had 2 beers and we shared a creme brulee dessert.

“great meal. totally different experience.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2012

the meal was great! at $36 per person, there are all kinds of meats available. you flip a coaster up showing "green" to indicate that you want more to eat. when you are satisfied, you switch to "red" on the other side of the coaster. the salad bar was adequate. perhaps the neatest aspect of the salad bar was the selection of imported cheeses and hams from around the world. we went before the symphony, so we were dressed up, otherwise we would have felt a bit our of place. i know people who will sit at this restaurant and eat for hours, but i have no idea how they can do it. the proportions are just so much.
