As a restaurant owner what I see happening here is they must be paying extremely high rent. It's large and very spread out. Never did figure out what their "genre" is or what they are trying to accomplish with decor and food. So that in itself isn't good. If you have to "explain" your restaurant which by the way the waitress couldn't do. Moving on because we just came for drinks on the patio. 4 drinks...total $104.67. For that type of cost their patio should be immaculate which it is not. Paint chipped, very uncomfortable seating, and it hadn't been dusted or washed in some time.

Service was awesome! Ambiance was great! Everything we ordered was incredible! Prices were a bit high! Portion sizes were a little small. Staff was helpful the following day at attempting to track down the sunglasses we left behind. Sadly, they were stolen even though they were spotted after we left :( But they were helpful at trying to find them the following day for us. Nice people (except whoever stole the sunglasses!)

Had the grilled octopus and an authentic pisco sour - absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend this place for a group dinner or a date

File this under "should have known better". All you have to do is size up the sushi chefs and your gut will tell you "nah". The fish was fresh enough, but butchered - sashimi cut into small chunks half the size of a lego. 6 tiny pieces for $16. Sushi was no bigger. But the real insult was ordering "omakase" or chef's choice and learning it would cost $2 more. The Japanese translation of omakase - the most coveted of sushi experiences literally means "I trust the chef." Omakase should be an honor, not an upcharge. To make matters worse, the chef's choice was imitation crabmeat. Seriously. Who trained these jamokes?

On the plus side, both the potstickers and the spicy crunch salad (with green papaya) were phenomenal. Absolutely delicious.

So go! But order food that comes from the kitchen, not the sushi bar.
