The view at the top of my the tower, is amazing an great for pics, at 750 ft tall you can see everything such as the Alamo dome, the river walk and most of the principal attractions in San Antonio.
The entrance apart from including going to the top of the 3 floors at the top (restaurant, bar and viewpoint), you get a free entrance to a 4D theater of any movie trailer mostly animated trailers.
At the bottom of the tower there are many beautiful fountains sor rounding it also great for pics.
The souvenir store is not that cheap but the shirts, key rings, cups, etc. are very nice and well-done.
Very recomendable and indispensable for pics!

it is exactly as you would expect, exactly what you would think it would be. Really high and it spins around.

A bit smaller then you would think. Nice for an hour or so. You will see most of San Antonio from the top. Worth a visit.

We were able to visit the observation desk and catch a short 4d film for a reasonable price. When we got in line for the film, there was not an attendant to let us in. We waited in line long enough to play 2 15 minute films. After talking to the tower elevator attendant 3 times, someone finally opened the door. It was 1:45 and she asked us if we were there for the 1:20 showing. The film was a condensed version of a full length family film. Other than the beautiful water fountains there is really nothing to do close by. It's a few blocks from downtown. All the off street parking was closed. So we ended up paying 25 dollars at the tower parking lot for a less than 2 hour visit.

Our group hemmed and hawed a bit before springing for the $12 tickets to ride the elevator to the top. We ended up getting the military discount ($9) for the whole group because we were with my son who was in uniform fresh from Air Force BMT. It was more worth the trip at the reduced rate. It's a nice way to get the birds eye view of such a spread out beautiful city. I guess it was just one of those "when in Rome things", kind of like the Alamo except it's not free.
