Went here for lunch on a Wendsday. This is kinda fast food, but they have some great choices. I chose the fish and grilled shrimp. The six shrimp were medium size and the fish was grilled to perfection. It is served over a bed of rice with grilled onions, tomatoes and peppers and a slice of garlic bread. Service was very fast and professional. I will return soon.

Laguna madre consistently has decent seafood at a good price. Their fish and shrimp vary between fresh tasting and seemingly right off the boat. Sometimes the portions are a little small, though. But quality has always been excellent.

Had fried shrimp and fish platter. With baked potato and Cole slaw. Service was quick and it was a nice location. Shrimp were not heavily breaded - good. Baked potato could have been cooked a little longer.

The fried fish and fish tacos were really good. The shrimp cocktail Mexicano was decent but not great. Prices were reasonable.

If you've been in San Antonio during the past decade or so you know that the family behind Bill Miller BBQ also had a string of seafood restaurants that were excellent, especially their shrimp gumbo. You also know they closed down. Why is open to discussion but it wasn't because the food was bad, for sure.

The Millers have opened up another seafood chain that is pretty much like the former one with much the same on the menu, except I don't believe I saw the option of customers bringing in their catch for Miller to cook, which was available at the old places. The food is good but not inexpensive. After all, it is seafood. My wife had the coconut shrimp dinner the last time we were there and she said it was good. I had the shrimp gumbo which was good, although once I had it and the shrimp was a tad rubbery but I went ahead and ordered it again.

This location is right next door to one of their BBQ locations in Leon Springs on I-10 at a fairly busy intersection that is a bit tricky to drive through, especially if you're going west on I-10. Lots of lanes. Go across the overpass and go straight through the intersection and be ready to turn into the BBQ parking lot on the left shortly after the intersection and after a median. No big deal unless the sun is setting. Or you can turn left onto the access road after the overpass but be sure you're not on the inside lane of the two left turn lanes. Then you can turn right into the Laguna Madre parking lot.
